“I’m very, very critical of our council’s nonpartisan structure. It allows people to pander to the right.”
— Councilman Darryl Glenn, during a meeting today with The Gazette’s Editorial Department. Glenn, a hard-core Republican, is running for county commissioner.
Darryl Glenn in my view is the only city council member who truly fits the position. He is professional, listens and respects the voters of Colorado Springs. He’ll be a solid addition to the county – He’d also be a solid Mayor for Colorado Springs.
I second that motion
No, I take that back. He’s already a lawyer, so moonlighting as strong mayor would make his salary higher than the state’s chief justice!!
