
At least 10,000 Colorado Springs voters have made up their minds in the city’s April election.
City Clerk Kathryn Young said in an e-mail early this morning that about 10,000 ballots out of the 150,000 that were mailed out have been returned so far.
Voters have until 7 p.m. April 5, which is Election Day, to return their ballots.
Ballots must be returned, not just postmarked, by 7 p.m. April 5.
Ballots can be dropped off at one of the following locations until 7 p.m. April 5:
• City Clerk’s Office, 30 S. Nevada Ave., Suite 101
• Colorado Springs Senior Center, 1514 N. Hancock Ave.
• Fire Station No. 8, 3737 Airport Rd.
• Fire Station No. 17, 350 Tutt Blvd.
• Fire Station No. 19, 2490 Research Parkway
• Fire Station No. 20, 6755 Rangewood Dr.
• Gold Hill Police Substation, 955 W. Moreno Ave.
First-class postage, a 44 cent stamp, is required for ballots sent back by mail.
I lived in Colorado Springs from 1992 until 12/19/2010. though I live out of state I have not received my ballot.
Ballots can also be dropped off at any dumpster or trash receptacle located throughout the city! No stamp required!
