“I’m sure he’ll claim that he’s being unfairly targeted because a federal judge doesn’t like his views on limited government. Then there’s the issue of trying to find him to serve him.”
— Mayor Lionel Rivera, reacting to news that anti-tax activist Douglas Bruce had been indicted for tax evasion.
Although this round is over Colorado tax, the mayor seems to indicate it’s the tip of an iceburg of federal tax evasion!
As in Other-Borther-Bruce-Nozolino’s case, grand juries and the state atty. general don’t apprehend anyone without multiple counts and several varieties of citations, knowing a few will be struck down. The SOS doesn’t jump the gun: maybe this will unravel all the way back to any deceptive actions regarding the city issue 300, 201,200, theugly 3 petition signatures, end – even- TABOR. BOTH the city and state tabors!
“People want to be introduced to the winners, not the losers.” That about says it all. Should be easier to get him to give an interview now Daniel.
No, eysongov – It would have been easy to find the loser after the his arrest yesterday but the crook posted bail.
He bonded out four hours later: http://www.newsfirst5.com/news/doug-bruce-has-no-comment-after-bonding-out-of-jail/.
Run Doug run….He looks like he hasnt run in years!
It figures Rivera would have to open his mouth about Bruce. Rivera why dont you come clean on the phony ethics hearing about your involvement with USOC. Maybe there should be another indicment handed down?
Rivera needs to shut up and go away
