Mayoral candidates Steve Bach and Richard Skorman will square off Monday in a debate at the Pikes Peak Center, which seats about 2,000.
“It’s going to be very much a U.S. presidential-style debate,” organizer Robert Todd said Thursday.
The debate, sponsored by Operation 6035, is from 6-7:15 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The debate, which will be moderated by Phil Lane, is open to the public, but tickets are $10 each.
Tickets are available through TicketsWest at www.ticketswest.com; the Pikes Peak Center, 190 S. Cascade Ave.; and the World Arena box office, 3185 Venetucci Blvd.; or by calling 520-SHOW.
Todd declined to say how many tickets have been sold so far. But he said organizers are on track to “significantly exceed” a previous debate before the April 5 election, which sold out at 425 attendees.
A reception for the two candidates and the new City Council will follow the debate.

Looks like the city clerk fixed the secrecy envelope problem. It fits this election!
