Mayor Steve Bach and members of the news media had a frank and sometimes tense discussion Tuesday about everything from the mayor’s availability to his pledge of transparency.

I love it. Since the advent of the 24-Hour-News-Media, journalists have been under the mistaken assumption that they, by some ethereal right, should have 100% unfettered, 24/7 access to whomever they desire.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a greater example of small power going to someone’s head.
Yes, political officials should be transparent; in return, the media ought not assume that their noble status affords them whatever they want, whenever they want. Perhaps they could take a lesson from the toddlers who have to hear Mommy and Daddy say, “No.”
Bach will not make it through his entire first term. He will step on his own tail. Bye bye, developer…
The King is mistaken. As long as the reporters are residents of COS they are his boss.
Make him go away.
Don’t let them get you down, Mayor. just keep bringing in all of those high paying jobs you promised because of the connections you have. (eyes roll)
