During a press conference at the City Administration Building this week, Mayor Steve Bach said his office was being inundated with a “tsunami” of open-records requests from the print media.
When a reporter followed up with a question about his contention that the city was getting “too many” CORA requests, Bach said he didn’t say that.
“I did not say that we have too many CORA requests. I think what I said is we have a tsunami of CORA requests. A tsunami is not necessarily a bad thing.”
Quipped the reporter: “Tell that to Japan.”
