What’s up now, Larry Lovers? Pimpin aint so easy after all huh?
The board should have been fired years ago when they brought on an unexperienced ER doc to run this multi-million dollar operation.
McEvoy had no history of being able to turn around an ER and here they were giving him an entire medical system. He may know medicine but he don’t know business. The board should be dissolved, let’s get the University in here to run things and try and put Memorial back together again.
too late for me. I quit and took my 30 yrs of nursing experience to another employer.
Well, they refused to resign, and were automatically removed today. Their public statement showed that they kept their arrogance to the very end. I’m glad they’re gone. The public outcry worked this time!!
Another group of out of touch people handing out incentive bonuses and other costly perks like they are only lollipops.
Their recent actions have shown their inability to act as a public “trustee”.
Now it is time to turn the focus on abuse of budget authority onto other city enterprises.
Thank you Councilwoman Angela Dougan and Councilman Tim Leigh for staying in the loop with Memorial Hospital issues. New council members making a difference the first year on the job – Impressive. Thank you to the entire city council who worked together listening to the community to let the Memorial Board go. Hard decisions must be made Decisions are at the heart of leader success, and at times there are critical moments when they can be difficult, perplexing, and nerve-racking. However, the boldest decisions are the safest.
Glad someone is finally standing up for the 99% (ordinary people).
