Wow, every one of the people that approved of these severance payouts should be fired.
Ok lets see here cops cleaning each others A$$es and then get paid for it._______ SWEET__________. But then again he is hispanic and she is white Shocking I tell you.
Lilithia
And City officials wonder why citizens are hesitant to approve tax increases…Amazing..!
We are lucky Mark Carrier wasn’t released with a severance package.
If someone “mutually agrees” to leave, why the need for a severance?
an assistant to an assistant was getting paid $25.00 hr and gets a severance? Pay out for silence of all Steve Bach’s secrets. Isnt City Council supposed to be watching how the money is being spent?
As with all government employees, they paid into a retirement plan. I would hazard a guess that the “severance” is nothing more then them getting the money they put into their plans.
Sydney Huffman from Medal of Valor winner to psychotic piece of s*** all in a year’s time. Deeply disappointed city admin gave her a dime to go away. She should be in jail.

because this is chacon…..i would bet this is “retirement” money that these people had paid into and deserved. The truth isn’t this writer’s strength.
If we could read all of the facts that Daniel withheld from the article, we would have the whole truth! That is why the gazette is so small, when you leave out the facts you save 50% on ink and paper expenses!
Severance is a buy out. Simple as that. Vacation and sick leave accrual is benefits earned, but not used. They earned that portion. Some of these people lost their jobs because of restructuring. Others were asked to “retire” and the severance was the incentive. NOT apples to apples. Steve Cox is the best example as well has Ann Crossey. These are the tragedies of the latitude given the system.
How many employees does Mayor Bach have working in his office? What are their salaries and job descriptions? Has the auditor ever audited the Mayors office? I hear he’s paying his staffs parking which is against City Charter. How does he get away with it? How much overtime has the Mayors staff submitted since he’s been in office? Answers need reporting.
