Welcome home, City Councilman Tim Leigh.
Leigh, who was on vacation in Hawaii, arrived in Colorado Springs on Monday.
He said the first thing he saw when he turned on his phone was a tweet from a Gazette reporter about a new parody Twitter account that pokes fun at him.
The account, which calls Leigh a “flake” and Mayor Steve Bach’s “errand boy,” includes an unflattering picture of Leigh.
“That’s the very first thing I saw when I turned on my cell phone,” he said.
“I want to know where they found that picture. I want to get it reproduced and put that in my City Hall office because that’s how I feel about City Hall most of the time when (my colleagues) vote against me.”
I think the pictures depicts Lee perfectly. It is very similar to Bach’s whiney pouty face he displays whenever he is having a temper tantrum and it not getting his way. These guys are two of the most unethical, selfish, childish, and corrupt politicians that Colorado Springs have every dealt with. They both need to be recalled, especially Bach before they destroy our city. Please do not put another Bach puppet on the council by electing Keith King. We need candidates that put the needs of Colorado Springs and its citizens first, not their own private and corrupt pursuits. We have had enough of that over the last few years.
Tim ran for Council to shamelessly promote his real estate business. In two years, what has he done except tear down CSU and lick Bachs boots. Leigh needs to leave. Citizens deserve better.
Leigh needs to leave. We are in trouble with men like Leigh and Bensberg in politics. Dont vote them in.
